Intern-Assistant Scientist (Small Molecule)

What you will do

• Perform basic laboratory analyses and routine sample preparation under supervision.
• Support sample receipt, labeling, storage, tracking, and analysis according to approved methods and SOPs.
• Prepare reagents, set up equipment, and operate pipettes, balances, centrifuges, and other standard laboratory equipment after training.
• Document laboratory activities, observations, and test results accurately.
• Assist with data entry, record organization, data verification, and routine project activities.
• Maintain laboratory cleanliness and safety standards while reporting unusual results, issues, or safety concerns.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Pharmacy, Analytical Chemistry, or Life Sciences.
• At least 3 months of experience using computer and office software applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Good organization, multitasking, verbal and written communication, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a high-performance laboratory environment.
• Preferred eligibility: final-year students expected to graduate in July 2027.

Nice to have

• Basic understanding of laboratory techniques and workflows.
• Familiarity with standard laboratory equipment and practices.
• Exposure to regulated laboratory environments such as GLP, GCP, or GCLP.
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy awareness.
