Appian Technical Lead

Location: Remote within the United States only; must support US Eastern time zone working hours. Work locations outside the US and personal VPN connections are prohibited.

Salary: $119,323–$202,850 annually.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain Appian BPM solutions for federal customers.
• Develop Appian plugins and configure forms, reports, business logic, and interfaces.
• Install and support applications on platforms such as JBoss, WebLogic, and IIS.
• Configure, debug, and integrate systems using relational databases and SQL scripting.
• Contribute across all phases of Agile software development for large-scale business-critical applications.
• Support RFIs, RFPs, prototypes, oral presentations, and the maintenance of relevant professional certifications.

Requirements

• US citizenship and residence in the United States are required.
• Work must be performed within the United States; the position supports US Eastern time zone hours.
• Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.
• 7+ years of recent hands-on experience with Appian BPM and Appian plugin development.
• 7+ years of experience with application servers, systems integration, relational databases, SQL scripting, and full software development lifecycles.
• Strong analytical, technical, written, verbal, teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation skills.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree and Appian Level 1, Level 2, or Level 3 certifications.
• Experience with Appian Tempo, Appian Sites, Java, and Maven builds.
• Federal government software development experience.
• Experience defining architecture and working with SOA, ESB, n-tier architectures, IBM WebSphere, Mule, LAMP/JBoss, Hadoop, or Microsoft .NET.
