TL;DR
Senior SAP CPI Developer (SAP Integration Suite/CPI): Designing, developing, and operating enterprise integrations connecting SAP S/4HANA and other SAP applications with third-party and cloud systems, with an accent on iFlows, adapters, API management, security, and message-based architectures. Focus on migrating PI/PO interfaces, building resilient high-volume integrations, implementing complex Groovy and Java transformations, and supporting production operations.
Location: 100% remote within the United States
Salary: $100,000–$160,000 annually

What you will do
- Design, develop, test, deploy, monitor, and support end-to-end SAP Integration Suite/CPI scenarios.
- Build iFlows with complex mappings, orchestration logic, content modifiers, splitters, routers, exception subprocesses, and adapter configurations.
- Develop Groovy and Java scripts for transformation, validation, and routing requirements.
- Integrate SAP systems with cloud, on-premises, partner, and third-party platforms using HTTP, SOAP, IDoc, OData, JMS, AS2, SFTP, REST, Salesforce, and Ariba adapters.
- Implement secure communication, API Management policies, error handling, retry and alerting mechanisms, and observability for message flows.
- Migrate legacy SAP PI/PO interfaces to SAP Integration Suite, tune high-volume scenarios, document solutions, lead knowledge transfer, and provide hypercare and root-cause analysis.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 10+ years of SAP integration experience, including at least 3 years with SAP Integration Suite/CPI.
- Hands-on experience with iFlow development, Groovy or Java scripting, CPI adapters, integration patterns, and middleware concepts.
- Experience with SAP API Management, event-driven architectures, SAP PI/PO, and migrations to CPI.
- Knowledge of OAuth2, SAML, certificate-based authentication, and secure integration practices.
- Applicants must be U.S. citizens, Green Card holders, EAD holders, or eligible H-1B transfer candidates.
Nice to have
- Experience integrating S/4HANA, ECC, SuccessFactors, Ariba, or Concur.
- Experience with performance tuning, pooling, parallel processing, and tenant capacity management.
