Salesforce QA Tester (DHS Public Trust)

Location: 100% remote within the continental United States; candidates must reside in and perform the work in the United States. Reston, Virginia is listed as the office location. US citizenship and an active Public Trust clearance, or the ability to obtain a DHS Public Trust clearance, are required.

Salary: $67,355–$114,503 annually for full-time employment.

What you will do

• Create thorough test scripts for user stories, tasks, and UAT.
• Test two small applications and document detailed pass/fail results for every product backlog item.
• Recommend QA best practices and explain test results to developers and stakeholders.
• Verify end-state functionality before work enters a sprint.
• Conduct system quality audits and review documentation related to system quality and functionality.
• Work autonomously across multiple projects while communicating through phone, web conference, and Microsoft Teams.

Requirements

• US citizenship is required.
• Active Public Trust clearance is required, with the ability to obtain a DHS Public Trust clearance.
• Must reside and work in the United States.
• At least 3 years of IT experience and 3 years of experience testing product backlog items with pass/fail documentation.
• Experience authoring test scripts, working in agile environments, and creating UAT test scripts.
• Strong written and verbal communication, analytical skills, and understanding of basic system technologies.

Nice to have

• Experience developing Software Quality Assurance Plans and leading QA compliance activities.
• Experience conducting system quality audits and analyzing system quality data and documentation.
• Experience working across multiple projects and in fast-paced environments.
