Phlebotomist (Healthcare)

Location: Middletown, Cincinnati, Huber Heights, and Orient, Ohio; Suwanee, Georgia, United States. Onsite work at a Patient Service Center or client office, with travel to additional sites when needed.

Salary: $17.75–$25.92 per hour, with potential eligibility for a quarterly performance-based incentive.

What you will do

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for patients of all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other analyses.
• Prepare specimens for testing and maintain accurate patient and specimen logs.
• Enter patient data, process billing information, and collect payments when required.
• Provide customer service and perform related administrative and clerical duties.
• Travel to additional sites when needed and work a Monday–Friday schedule with Saturday rotation.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification, completed training program, or at least three months of phlebotomy experience.
• Certification or training used in lieu of experience must come from an accredited agency.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and a proven customer-service record.
• Reliable transportation, flexibility for overtime, and the ability to work independently or with a team.
• Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test.

Nice to have

• Two or more years of phlebotomy experience.
