Senior Transportation Planning Specialist

What you will do

• Manage compliance and monitoring programs for transportation demand management plans at development sites.
• Track development approvals, construction activities, schedules, documentation, and TDM requirements.
• Coordinate with clients, developers, and project teams on TDM infrastructure and zoning compliance.
• Conduct and report on transportation demand management monitoring and compliance activities.
• Maintain databases, data systems, records, and compliance documentation.
• Prepare reports, white papers, presentations, and briefs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in urban planning, transportation planning, environmental studies, public policy, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of progressively responsible experience in urban planning, zoning compliance, development-focused TDM, or a related discipline.
• Experience managing databases, entering and formatting data, and generating reports.
• Knowledge of transportation demand management, urban planning, transit-oriented development, and compliance monitoring.
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Experience coordinating projects, staff, contractors, departments, or disciplines.

Nice to have

• SQL, Python, GIS, CRM, Salesforce, Azure, Power BI, or Tableau experience.
• Experience designing and updating data dashboards.
• Experience with TDM site plan development, monitoring, or compliance.
• Staff management experience.
• AICP or LEED AP certification.
