Account Manager (Publications)

Location: Remote in the United States

Salary: $70,000–$95,000 base salary per year

What you will do

• Manage day-to-day client interactions and publication-focused projects from briefing through completion.
• Coordinate internal teams to deliver compliant, high-quality work on time and within budget.
• Align project strategy, content, and planning with scientific leads while resolving delivery challenges.
• Oversee account performance, budgets, scope management, invoicing, forecasting, and client satisfaction.
• Support business development through proposals, pitches, and opportunities within existing accounts.
• Contribute to cross-functional initiatives that improve company processes and services.

Requirements

• Experience in a client-facing project or account management role within a medical communications agency.
• Essential experience managing publications-focused accounts.
• Experience managing complex projects and related financial processes.
• Strong client and stakeholder relationship-building, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate teams, with mentoring experience preferred.
• Strong organization, adaptability, MS Office proficiency, and experience with publication planning software such as iEnvision.
