Salary: $137,871–$155,105 USD annually for candidates based in the United States; $186,306–$209,595 CAD annually for candidates based in Canada

What you will do

• Lead the technical side of psychometric research partnerships, including study design, data sharing, analysis, and interpretation.
• Extract, clean, and securely share assessment data; analyze item difficulty, score distributions, growth, concurrent validity, and IRT-based scoring.
• Recruit and coordinate school and district research sites, manage agreements and consent procedures, and coordinate child assessment visits.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, legal, and external research partners to translate findings into product improvements and technical documentation.
• Build and maintain the hirify.global Kids KPI dashboard, including App Store Connect and Google Play Console integrations.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting, set targets, and answer ad hoc data requests with SQL.

Requirements

• Advanced degree in psychometrics, educational measurement, quantitative methods, or a related field, or equivalent applied experience.
• Strong knowledge of item analysis, reliability and validity evidence, growth modeling, and Item Response Theory.
• Proficiency with SQL and R or Python for data extraction, cleaning, analysis, and visualization.
• Experience with or willingness to learn business intelligence tools such as Looker, plus dashboard and data pipeline development.
• Knowledge of responsible education data sharing, student privacy, FERPA, COPPA, and pseudonymized or deidentified data.
• Strong communication, project management, organizational, and cross-cultural competency skills.

• Experience or strong interest in early childhood education and assessment of young learners.
