Vice President, Communications (Corporate Communications)

Location: New York, NY — 11 Madison; the role is based in New York, with support for East Coast operations and coordination with London-based stakeholders.

Salary: $142,500–$190,000 annually

What you will do

• Develop and execute integrated communications strategies aligned with business objectives and corporate priorities.
• Advise senior executives and business leaders on media relations, executive visibility, storytelling, and stakeholder communications.
• Lead proactive media relations, press materials, thought leadership, speeches, presentations, and executive briefing materials.
• Direct internal communications, employee engagement initiatives, organizational announcements, and workforce communications.
• Manage financial communications, lender communications, crisis response, issues management, and reputation-risk mitigation.
• Lead communications alignment across U.S. and international teams while managing and developing a high-performing communications team.

Requirements

• 10–15+ years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, executive communications, media relations, or related functions.
• Significant experience advising senior executives and leading integrated communications programs across multiple business units.
• Demonstrated experience in crisis communications, reputation management, and sensitive communications issues.
• Strong media relations record across business, entertainment, sports, consumer, and trade media.
• Exceptional writing, storytelling, presentation, executive communications, business acumen, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience managing and developing communications professionals and high-performing teams.
