Process Engineer - Inspection Systems (SPI/AOI/AXI)

Location: Lewiston, Idaho, United States; onsite position

Salary: $97,700–$144,400 per year for the Process Engineer level. Candidates may also be considered for the Associate Process Engineer level at $84,200–$124,500 per year.

What you will do

• Define, specify, develop, validate, implement, and sustain SPI, AOI, and AXI inspection systems across multiple factories and product families.
• Provide engineering support for manufacturing equipment, materials, and processes.
• Improve process quality, yield, efficiency, capacity, and manufacturing risk through data-driven analysis.
• Apply statistical problem solving to identify root causes and evaluate equipment, processes, and improvement initiatives.
• Interpret inspection and process results and provide recommendations to management.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, engineering teams, suppliers, and cross-functional project groups.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• At least two years of process development experience in a related world-class manufacturing company.
• Knowledge of statistics applied to process capability measurements.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams, influence stakeholders, reach consensus, and manage projects.
• Strong writing, documentation, speaking, and teamwork skills, with the ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities.
• Satisfactory background check and negative drug test results.
