Manager Quality Improvement (Healthcare)

Location: Fully work from home within the United States only; the role is not limited to Chicago.

Base pay: $84,400–$152,300 annually, plus eligibility for an annual incentive bonus.

What you will do

• Support population health, quality improvement, and value-based care initiatives.
• Collaborate with provider groups, clinicians, and internal business partners.
• Provide embedded support to providers and conduct member outreach.
• Identify and close care gaps through provider education and operational interventions.
• Implement clinical and operational strategies that improve preventive care and health outcomes.
• Lead quality improvement and practice transformation initiatives using performance data.

Requirements

• Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse or Registered Physician Assistant license in the state of operations.
• At least 2 years of experience using accreditation agency programs.
• At least 3 years of medical-surgical and/or Quality Improvement and Utilization Review experience.
• At least 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, medical procedures, TQM/CQI concepts, and quality performance programs.
• Analytical, communication, project management, Microsoft Windows, and database skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in population health, preventive care, care management, provider outreach, or healthcare quality initiatives.
• Expertise in HEDIS, Medicare Stars, care gap reports, EMR data, and quality dashboards.
• Experience with value-based care, risk-based contracting, chronic disease management, and practice transformation.
• Experience leading quality consultants, clinical quality specialists, practice consultants, or population health teams.
• Success building relationships with physicians, practice administrators, and clinical staff.
