Emergency Response Operations Analyst

What you will do

• Support communications with FEMA leadership, Public Affairs, Congressional Affairs, and other stakeholders on cross-cutting emerging-threat issues.
• Develop internal communications, briefings, presentations, after-action reports, speeches, testimony materials, and periodic reports.
• Create brochures, kiosks, graphics, videos, and other materials supporting CBRN communications and the FEMA Office of Emerging Threats mission.
• Maintain and update FEMA OET internal and external websites.
• Support events, informal meetings, training, and advisement for FEMA employees on regulations, threat-analysis documents, and stakeholder engagement.
• Ensure 508 compliance for contractor-developed videos and distributed documents.

Requirements

• US citizenship and ability to obtain DHS Public Trust clearance.
• 4+ years of experience in FEMA, emerging threats, or policy analysis.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and Adobe Acrobat.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
