Senior Actuarial Analyst

What you will do

• Develop efficient and transparent queries to obtain appropriate data with minimal oversight.
• Perform actuarial studies and analyses related to premiums, pricing, claims, medical economics, profitability, wellness, predictive modeling, provider efficiency, contracting, and claim reserving.
• Create analyses and presentation materials to support actuarial and management decision-making.
• Validate the internal and external consistency and quality of actuarial work.
• Manage multiple projects, recurring assignments, priorities, scope, and timelines.
• Explain technical work to technical and non-technical stakeholders and support less experienced staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a closely related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in an actuarial role.
• Completion of 4 actuarial exam components.
• Knowledge of actuarial principles, concepts, practices, and processes.
• Analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Must be based in Pennsylvania, United States for the remote role.
