Software Engineer (DAML)

What you will do

• Design, develop, implement, and maintain Canton-based applications using DAML.
• Analyze, program, test, and debug software on DAML-based platforms.
• Translate client requirements into technical specifications and develop DAML smart contracts.
• Identify and resolve production and non-production application issues.
• Create software development lifecycle documentation and participate in on-call support rotations.
• Mentor team members and contribute to a collaborative learning environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Hands-on DAML experience and a strong understanding of Canton public and private networks.
• 4+ years of software engineering experience with programming languages such as Scala or Haskell.
• Understanding of distributed ledger technologies and their financial-sector applications.
• Experience with relational databases, APIs, REST, gRPC, PKI, and message queuing systems.
• Ability to work remotely from the United States.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of other blockchain protocols, including EVM-based protocols.
