Senior Estimator MEP / Cost Planner (Data Centre Construction)

What you will do

• Lead estimating activities through the construction stage of projects and manage relationships with project teams, general contractors, and clients.
• Develop robust estimating processes and systems for the estimating team.
• Evaluate initial cost plans, estimate deliverables, and quality controls within agreed timeframes.
• Own external contractor bid analysis and develop project benchmarking strategies.
• Provide technical guidance on change order estimates and post-budget cost analysis.
• Keep key stakeholders updated on estimating progress and deliverables.

Requirements

• More than 8 years of estimating experience in the construction sector.
• Experience with high-tech or data centre projects is preferred.
• Understanding of MEP systems and the ability to read services drawings and schematics.
• Experience across estimating, peer reviews, and project benchmarking.
• Business development, negotiation, and client representation skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with experience guiding estimating teams.
