Manager, Accounting Advisory - Behavioral Health Industry

Location: 100% remote anywhere in the United States; up to 10% travel required

What you will do

• Review financial reporting packages and work papers for quality, completeness, and timely delivery.
• Prepare benchmarking data, key performance indicators, budgets, forecasts, and cash flow models.
• Present reporting packages and findings to clients and provide technical accounting support.
• Identify operational inefficiencies and recommend actionable improvements.
• Coordinate US and offshore engagement teams to deliver high-quality client work.
• Lead and coach staff and senior accountants on accounting and financial reporting matters.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
• 4–6 years of public or private accounting experience, including at least 3 years managing associates or teams.
• Experience serving healthcare, behavioral health, nonprofit, or community-based organizations.
• Understanding of healthcare revenue cycle processes, reimbursement models, and state and federal funding compliance.
• Strong financial reporting, analysis, communication, collaboration, planning, and project management skills.
• Proficiency with Sage Intacct, QuickBooks Online, NetSuite, Bill.com, and other accounting technologies.

Nice to have

• CPA, CMA, or similar professional certification.
• Cost allocation, Single Audit, or Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic experience.
