Accounting Manager

What you will do

• Manage full-cycle accounting operations and the month-end close, including revenue recognition, accounts payable, fixed assets, capital expenditures, payroll, and cash management.
• Build AI workflows, agents, and automated process flows while leveraging ERP and adjacent accounting tools to reduce manual work and improve accuracy.
• Drive accounting process improvements, scalable operations, internal controls, and a SOX-ready control framework.
• Prepare and improve financial reporting, analyze accounting data, and present insights to leadership and finance partners.
• Provide budget, variance-versus-actuals, KPI, and process improvement insights to business stakeholders.
• Lead external audit coordination, tax compliance support, technical accounting matters, and financial reporting updates.

Requirements

• Active CPA license.
• Public accounting firm experience required, preferably with Big Four or a large regional firm and an audit background.
• Corporate or private-company accounting experience in addition to public accounting experience.
• At least 5–7 years of progressive accounting and managerial experience.
• Experience building and using AI workflows and agents to automate everyday tasks.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, data-oriented, and high-intensity working approach.
