TL;DR
Manager, Accounting Advisory - Physician Practices (Healthcare Accounting): Reviewing financial reporting packages, analyzing benchmarking data, and supporting budgets, forecasts, and cash flow models for healthcare clients with an accent on technical accounting, client consulting, and financial reporting quality. Focus on leading US and offshore engagement teams, identifying operational inefficiencies, and coaching accounting staff.
Location: Remote anywhere in the United States; travel up to 10% may be required.

What you will do
- Review financial reporting packages and work papers for quality, completeness, and timely delivery.
- Prepare benchmarking data, key performance indicators, budgets, forecasts, and cash flow models.
- Present reporting packages and findings to healthcare clients.
- Provide technical accounting support and identify operational inefficiencies through client discovery sessions.
- Lead US and offshore engagement team members to ensure efficient workflows and consistent client deliverables.
- Lead and coach staff and senior accountants on accounting and financial reporting matters.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
- 4–6 years of experience in public or private accounting.
- 3+ years of experience managing associates or teams.
- Healthcare industry experience, including post-acute care, skilled nursing, or hospitals.
- Proficiency in financial reporting and analysis, with strong planning, organizational, project management, relationship-building, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work remotely anywhere in the United States and travel up to 10%.
Nice to have
- CPA, CMA, or another professional certification.
- Experience with QuickBooks Online, Sage Intacct, and other industry accounting software.
- Ability to adopt new technologies and promote constructive change.
