What you will do
- Examine accounting documents for accuracy, policy compliance, and conformity with GAAP.
- Prepare monthly financial statements, supporting schedules, charts, tables, and analyses.
- Prepare journal entries, review entries from lower-level accountants, and maintain the monthly journal entry control log.
- Analyze accounting transactions, identify corrective actions, and perform fluctuation analysis.
- Verify general ledger, receipt, disbursement, interface, and sub-ledger transactions.
- Act as the primary accounting contact for assigned business-unit managers and staff.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent plus 3–5 years of related accounting experience.
- Alternatively, an associate’s degree plus 5–7 years of related accounting experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3–5 years of accounting experience with general ledger system knowledge.
- Ability to work remotely while based in Pennsylvania, United States.
Nice to have
- Master’s degree.
- CPA or CMA certification.
- Healthcare experience.
