Pre-Litigation Department Manager (Personal Injury)

Location: Miami, United States; on-site role with employment authorization in the United States required

Salary: USD 85,000–110,000 per year

What you will do

• Manage daily pre-litigation department operations, workflow, productivity, and case resolution timelines.
• Review and assist with complex hospital, medical provider, and lien negotiations.
• Monitor quality, productivity, and turnaround-time metrics and implement process improvements.
• Collaborate with attorneys and firm leadership on escalated matters and operational performance.
• Review settlement documentation for accuracy and compliance with firm policies, attorney direction, and legal requirements.
• Recruit, train, and evaluate department team members.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of recent experience with medical lien reductions, hospital negotiations, and settlement support in a plaintiff personal injury law firm.
• At least 3 years of experience leading or managing legal professionals in a plaintiff personal injury law firm.
• Demonstrated success managing productivity, quality, or turnaround-time metrics in a high-volume environment.
• Bilingual English and Spanish proficiency required.
• Experience with Litify, Salesforce, or a comparable legal case management system.
• Authorization to work in the United States is required.
