Hardware Test Engineer

Location: Tlaquepaque, Jalisco, Mexico. Onsite, first shift. Relocation is not provided.

What you will do

• Perform hardware validation for factory services projects and customer solutions.
• Validate hardware configurations, components, peripherals, accessories, and system stability.
• Assemble and configure systems according to bills of materials and engineering specifications.
• Build validation units for engineering investigations, pilot testing, and new product introduction activities.
• Procure hardware, manage lab inventory and assets, and track engineering samples and validation platforms.
• Investigate failures, reproduce reported issues, support corrective actions, and maintain lab infrastructure and documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
• Hands-on experience with PC hardware assembly and repair.
• Experience configuring BIOS and firmware and installing and validating operating systems.
• Experience with hardware troubleshooting, system diagnostics, and hardware compatibility testing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced engineering and manufacturing environment.
