Director, Enterprise Resilience & Crisis Management

What you will do

• Build the enterprise resilience and business continuity framework, including governance, standards, recovery expectations, critical-process assessments, and executive reporting.
• Identify operational dependencies, vulnerabilities, single points of failure, and leading indicators across manufacturing, supply chain, technology, people, facilities, and external events.
• Establish the crisis management framework, including classification, escalation protocols, decision rights, executive engagement, and cross-functional coordination.
• Lead the enterprise crisis management process during significant events by coordinating leaders, maintaining a common operating picture, and enabling timely decisions.
• Develop business impact assessments, continuity plans, executive exercises, crisis simulations, and corrective-action programs.
• Initially lead a small Enterprise Resilience Center of Excellence supported by functional and regional resilience leads, shared resources, and contractors.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in enterprise resilience, business continuity, crisis management, operational risk, emergency management, or related disciplines.
• Experience leading complex cross-functional programs and working with senior executives during significant disruptions or crisis simulations.
• Experience in manufacturing, energy, industrial technology, critical infrastructure, or global supply chains.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline required; advanced degree preferred.
• Calm judgment and strong influencing skills for high-pressure situations.
• Professional credentials such as CBCP/MBCP, CBCI/MBCI, ISO 22301 certification, or comparable resilience credentials are strongly preferred.
