Director - Consulting

Location: Hybrid role based in close proximity to an office in Calgary, Houston, Boston, or New York; expected in the office 2–3 days per week. Travel required 60–80% of the time.

What you will do

• Lead consulting projects and ensure the quality of analytics, presentations, and other client deliverables.
• Manage relationships with clients ranging from C-suite stakeholders to supply chain, engineering, project management, and business development teams.
• Develop new solutions supporting client objectives and the energy transition.
• Manage project work plans, scopes, objectives, deliverables, progress, revenue recognition, and profitability metrics.
• Lead, coach, and develop junior members of the Supply Chain Consulting team.
• Identify opportunities for additional consulting services, develop proposals, and support deal closure.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; a relevant postgraduate degree is generally preferred.
• 12+ years of experience in consulting, supply chain, operations, or engineering.
• Experience in Power & Renewables and/or Oil & Gas is preferred.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, project management, managerial, communication, and technical writing skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage client relationships, coach junior staff, and develop persuasive business documents.
• Ability and willingness to travel 60–80% of the time; visa sponsorship is not provided.

Nice to have

• Postgraduate degree in a relevant subject area.
• Experience in the Power & Renewables and/or Oil & Gas sectors.
