Salary: Gross EUR 3,843 per month minimum; a higher offer may reflect experience and market conditions.

What you will do
- Architect, develop, and maintain Android design-system components and mobile interaction patterns.
- Write and review clean, scalable, testable Kotlin code aligned with platform strategies and design standards.
- Maintain quality through automated testing, code reviews, continuous integration, unit tests, screenshot tests, and Compose UI tests.
- Collaborate with designers, developers, architects, project leaders, and Roche clients to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Document mobile components and support adoption, implementation, testing, and maintenance across the mobile development community.
- Create AI-agent documentation, vibe-coded test applications, and Figma Code Connect documentation for the design-system library.
Requirements
- At least five years of Android development experience.
- Expert knowledge of Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and Git.
- Experience with Material Design 3 for Jetpack Compose and design systems.
- Strong experience building reusable, testable, composable UI components.
- Deep knowledge of accessibility best practices in Jetpack Compose and RTL development.
Nice to have
- Experience with iOS, cross-platform solutions, third-party libraries, or inner-sourced products.
- Experience with Dokka, documentation deployment, GitHub Actions, design tokens, and Figma Tokens.
- JavaScript or TypeScript knowledge and experience in regulated environments.
- Participation in developer communities, community management, or open-source contributions.
