Audit Senior Manager (Health Care)

Location: Remote, but must be based in California; engagement with healthcare clients and prospects across the state is required.

Base salary: $142,000–$200,000 annually, with potential eligibility for a discretionary annual bonus.

What you will do

• Lead complex audit, review, and attest engagements for senior living healthcare clients.
• Communicate audit results, financial insights, and accounting or regulatory issues to clients.
• Build relationships with California senior living clients and support practice growth.
• Plan engagement staffing, schedules, and budgets using U.S.-based and international team members.
• Assist with GAAP compliance and FASB Accounting Standard Updates while resolving client concerns.
• Coach and mentor associates, seniors, and managers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• CPA certification required.
• 8–10 years of experience with a public accounting firm.
• Experience serving senior living healthcare clients, preferably skilled nursing, assisted living, or CCRC organizations.
• Experience working with both nonprofit and for-profit senior living organizations.
• Client relationship, business development, management, or mentoring experience.
