AI-Forward Engineer, NimbleRx

Location: Hybrid in Redwood City, California, US; two to three days in the office weekly are required.

What you will do

• Partner with product, engineering, data, design, operations, sales, and product marketing to identify pain points and build AI-enabled solutions.
• Experiment with and implement AI-assisted developer tooling, agentic coding workflows, and AI-enhanced CI/CD pipelines.
• Evaluate frontier models including Claude, Gemini, Kimi, and GPT, then integrate the best-fit models into team workflows.
• Build an AI-augmented testing pipeline covering product use cases, test cases, test data, unit tests, and Playwright end-to-end automation.
• Create internal AI tools and interfaces such as chat assistants, dashboards, browser extensions, and Slack integrations.
• Establish practices for agentic engineering, model evaluation, security, responsible AI, cost management, and system monitoring.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in engineering or DevOps roles.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, Java, and Python.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform, GitHub flows or Actions, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of AWS and practical experience building with AI models or agentic coding tools.
• Ability to collaborate across technical and nontechnical functions and turn operational pain points into working tools.
• Ability to work from the Redwood City office two to three days per week.

Nice to have

• Experience with AST-based tooling such as Java Spoon, TypeScript OXC, or Flutter Dart Analyzer.
• A portfolio of personal or professional AI-powered tools and projects.
