Mechatronics Design Engineer (EUV)

Location: hirify.global Hsinchu office, Taiwan. The role includes 3–6 months of on-the-job training in Wilton, United States, during the first year, as well as travel to hirify.global offices or customer sites for urgent escalation support.

What you will do

• Represent the Wilton DE team in Taiwan and provide frontline support for NXE EUV Top Module escalations.
• Clarify field issues, perform root-cause analysis, and drive technical containment and solutions.
• Analyze field data and develop effective diagnostics for NXE EUV Top Module problems.
• Review EUV Top Module design changes and provide feedback to the Wilton DE team.
• Manage end-to-end action plans executed at customer sites and communicate status updates daily.
• Coordinate with Global Support Center, Wilton DE colleagues, and customers to close technical gaps.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Mechatronic Engineering is preferred, ideally with a motion or servo control background.
• 3–5 years of industry experience in motion, stage, or robot control.
• Direct experience designing and testing mechatronic systems or equipment.
• Knowledge of MATLAB and Simulink, classical and digital control theory, dynamics, stability analysis, feedback/feedforward control, and real-time controls.
• Strong data analysis, technical writing, presentation, and professional communication skills in English.
• Must work from the hirify.global Hsinchu office in Taiwan and be able to complete training in Wilton, United States, with flexibility for business travel.

Nice to have

• Knowledge or experience in robotics and stage controls.
