SMB Solutions Engineer (AI)

Location: New York City, New York, United States. Hybrid role requiring work from the assigned office at least 3 days per week, with travel to customers of up to 50%.

Annual base salary: $121,500–$152,000 USD, plus potential equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Research customer business problems and design, test, and refine customer-centric solutions.
• Own the technical win and drive technical deals forward throughout the sales cycle.
• Lead demonstrations of hirify.global AI, hirify.global Web and Mobile, Shield, Relay, Sign, Governance, Canvas, Platform, and related solutions.
• Explain product integrations and MCP servers and manage the extended technical team from a solution perspective.
• Communicate the business value of hirify.global solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Support field marketing events as a subject-matter expert and presenter.

Requirements

• Four-year degree or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years of experience in pre-sales, solutions engineering, or technical consulting within SaaS, enterprise software, AI, or cloud platforms.
• Technical fluency with LLMs, embeddings, automation, context engineering, and prompt engineering.
• Strong presentation skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to technical and business audiences.
• Ability to solve customer business problems through experimentation, iteration, and solution refinement.
• Ability to work from the assigned New York City office at least 3 days per week and travel up to 50%.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with APIs, webhooks, REST, OAuth, JSON, Python, and JavaScript.
• Experience with low-code or no-code automation tools such as Nintex, Zapier, Workato, or n8n.
