What you will do
- Develop range structures, seasonal and in-season sales forecasts, profit targets, Open-to-Buy plans, and sales budgets.
- Monitor sales performance, manage stock intake, identify trading opportunities, and implement markdown and exit strategies.
- Collaborate with Buying, Design, Marketing, global suppliers, and external brand partners to build customer-led assortments.
- Analyse historical performance data, prepare selection packs, and influence seasonal ranges, pricing, and option plans.
- Maintain merchandising systems, supplier contracts, delivery schedules, and stock and sizing audits.
- Coach and develop Trainee and Assistant Merchandisers where relevant to the role level.
Requirements
- Strong numerical, analytical, and data interpretation skills.
- Degree in Mathematics, Economics, Business, Statistics, or a related discipline, or relevant experience in fashion, lifestyle, or branded retail merchandising.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience managing financial targets, profit, and spend.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presenting insights to stakeholders and brand partners.
- Interest in fashion, trends, and products, with strong organisation, time management, and adaptability.
- Candidates requiring sponsorship must meet UK Home Office sponsorship requirements.
