Contract Product & Design Sourcer

Location: Remote

Compensation: $75–$95 per hour

Builds software for modern insurance claims processing, including self-service claim filing and machine-learning-powered fraud detection for large insurers.

What you will do

• Build high-quality talent pipelines for senior Product and Design roles.
• Develop creative sourcing strategies using LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, portfolios, product launches, case studies, communities, events, and web research.
• Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to define target profiles and refine sourcing plans.
• Write personalized outreach connecting candidates’ experience, motivations, and potential impact to each opportunity.
• Track response rates, conversion data, pipeline progress, and search effectiveness to improve sourcing.
• Maintain accurate candidate activity and information in Ashby or a similar applicant tracking system.

Requirements

• Strong sourcing experience and the ability to identify exceptional Product and Design talent beyond job-title and keyword matching.
• Ability to assess transferable experience and recognize signals such as product judgment, design craft, customer empathy, business impact, execution, and leadership.
• Clear, concise, and personalized written communication for highly sought-after candidates.
• Curiosity, resourcefulness, persistence, sound judgment, and willingness to experiment with sourcing strategies.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with recruiters, hiring managers, and Product and Design leaders.
• Comfort using AI tools such as Claude, Codex, or similar platforms for research and outreach.

Nice to have

• Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter and Ashby.
• Experience sourcing through product and design communities, portfolios, conference speaker lists, and unconventional channels.
