Senior Software Engineer – Frontend-Focused Full-Stack (Cybersecurity)

Location: Remote within the United States; must be a US citizen or green card holder. The role is associated with Austin, Texas.

Salary: $180,000–$195,000 per year plus a 10% bonus.

What you will do

• Shape the end-to-end user experience of the hirify.global Console by gathering stakeholder feedback, defining interaction patterns, and simplifying complex administrative workflows.
• Lead frontend architecture, including component structure, state management, routing, build and test tooling, and the shared component library.
• Deliver and troubleshoot features across the React and TypeScript UI, REST APIs, Java and Go services, and Kubernetes-based microservices.
• Integrate enterprise identity providers, single sign-on, session handling, authorization, and role-based access control.
• Build accessible interfaces aligned with Section 508 and WCAG 2.x AA expectations, with unit, component, and end-to-end test coverage in CI/CD.
• Mentor engineers, review code, guide technical decisions, support secure development practices, and provide periodic off-hours on-call support.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience with significant frontend depth and experience architecting scalable enterprise web applications.
• Expert knowledge of modern frontend development, including state management, data fetching, component composition, and web fundamentals.
• Working proficiency in at least one backend language and solid knowledge of RESTful APIs, microservices, containers, and public cloud platforms.
• Experience with accessibility standards, secure coding, common web vulnerabilities, identity and access management, and frontend testing.
• Experience mentoring engineers and leading technical work across one or more teams, with strong communication and documentation skills.
• Must be a US citizen or green card holder.

Nice to have

• Experience building security, identity, or infrastructure management interfaces for operator and administrator users.
• Familiarity with enterprise component libraries and design systems.
• Experience with frontend observability, including error tracking, usage monitoring, and performance budgets.
