Torcher (Metal Recycling)

Location: 75 Steel City Ct, Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. Onsite work, Monday to Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Salary: From CAD 26.50 per hour, plus overtime after 44 hours.

What you will do

• Operate torch equipment to cut and trim different metal materials.
• Set up and prepare torch equipment and apply required safety measures.
• Perform precise cutting tasks and inspect finished workpieces.
• Make adjustments to finished workpieces as needed.
• Move and secure materials using clamps or fixtures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and safely store equipment and materials.

Requirements

• Basic understanding of torch equipment operation and safety procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate work.
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Ability to stand and bend for long periods and lift objects as required.
• Comfort working outdoors and being exposed to all weather conditions.

Nice to have

• Previous experience in metalworking, welding, fabrication, or a related field.
