Contract Manager (Energy)

Location: Office/Site only in Raleigh, North Carolina, United States. Travel of approximately 10% domestically and internationally is required.

What you will do

• Advise on customer contracts, consortium agreements, and subcontracts for large-scale Grid Technologies projects.
• Analyze contractual, technical, and commercial risks and support change-order processes and related correspondence.
• Develop and advance project-specific claims strategies in line with established claims management processes.
• Collect project records and documentation to support incoming and outgoing claims.
• Support legal teams with quantum, extension-of-time, factual defense, and arbitration matters.
• Perform quantum and delay analyses to establish causation for events affecting project schedules and scope.

Requirements

• 5–8 or more years of experience handling complex contracts and managing multiple projects.
• Experience with commercial contracts; industrial or energy-market experience is preferred.
• Expertise in claims management and strong negotiation skills.
• Ability to make pragmatic recommendations, exercise independent judgment, and influence stakeholders at all organizational levels.
• Legal degree preferred; equivalent professional experience may be considered.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
