Cloud Security Intern

Location: Durham, North Carolina, United States — hybrid, with at least three days per week in the Durham office

Salary: $55.00 per hour, plus a housing stipend, 401(k) matching, and a monthly communications reimbursement allowance.

hirify.global provides a real-time cloud-based endpoint management and security platform for enterprise and government customers.

What you will do

• Select and deliver a mentor-vetted cloud cybersecurity project during the internship.
• Implement detective and preventive security controls for hirify.global Cloud security operations.
• Implement DevOps security tools that provide context and recommendations for deployed cloud resources.
• Identify and process security operations data to create or improve monitoring dashboards.
• Work with the Cloud Cybersecurity team and engineers, then present the completed project to the R&D team.

Requirements

• Authorized to work in the United States now and in the future.
• Available to work full-time from June 7, 2027, through August 13, 2027.
• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program with a GPA of 3.5 or above.
• Graduating in Spring 2028 or Fall 2027.
• Some experience with cloud technologies such as AWS.
• Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with peers.

• Prior internship experience.
• Interest in hands-on learning and solving security challenges.
