Web Scraping Engineer (AI)

Location: Warsaw, Poland; hybrid work with 3 office days and 2 work-from-home days, plus work-from-anywhere options.

Gross salary: 21,000–33,000 PLN per month, with flexibility based on skills and competencies.

What you will do

• Design and build high-scale crawlers, scrapers, parsers, and supporting infrastructure handling thousands to millions of requests.
• Own client projects end-to-end, translating requirements into custom solutions from scratch.
• Write functional, reusable Python or Go code with AI-driven development tools.
• Work within the data platform to build and deliver large datasets.
• Use internal scraping tools or create new tools as priorities and client routes change.
• Justify technical decisions, review code, and collaborate with the team on quality solutions.

Requirements

• Multiple years of backend development experience with Python or Go, or strong AI-assisted web scraping expertise.
• Knowledge of web scraping fundamentals, parsing, headless browsers, and PostgreSQL or BigQuery.
• Experience with data engineering, including ETL/ELT pipelines and tools such as Spark, Airflow, or Dagster.
• High independence and the ability to take full ownership after aligning on an approach.
• Hands-on experience with AI-driven development tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, or Antigravity.
• Business-first mindset focused on speed, delivery, and handling direct feedback.
