Senior Full Stack Developer (React/.NET)

Location: Remote-first with quarterly meet-ups at the London office. Applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK. Opportunities to work from Germany or Poland are available.

Salary: £65,000–£85,000 per annum, dependent on experience.

hirify.global is supporting an established organisation expanding its in-house software engineering capabilities and Buying & Merchandising technology function.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and enhance full stack applications using C#, .NET, React, and TypeScript.
• Build software for product management, purchasing, stock control, pricing, promotions, and sales reporting.
• Develop REST APIs, backend services, distributed applications, microservices, and event-driven solutions using RabbitMQ, MassTransit, and Azure Service Bus.
• Deploy containerised applications with Docker and Kubernetes in Microsoft Azure and improve Jenkins CI/CD pipelines.
• Contribute to microfrontend development, automated testing, peer reviews, Git workflows, and continuous delivery.
• Investigate complex technical issues, estimate and plan work, translate requirements into solutions, and mentor junior developers.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of professional experience with C#, SQL, Entity Framework Core, and JavaScript or TypeScript.
• At least 4 years of commercial experience with React or a comparable modern frontend framework.
• Professional experience across server-side and client-side development, including RESTful APIs, scalable backend services, microservices, and distributed application architecture.
• Strong SQL Server and relational database design skills, plus experience with messaging technologies.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes; Azure experience is advantageous.
• Experience with automated testing, peer reviews, CI/CD, Jenkins, GitFlow or similar workflows, and resolving complex technical challenges.

• Experience mentoring less experienced developers.
• Experience with technical estimation, project planning, or initial project definition.
• Experience in retail or another commercially focused environment.
