Consultant Supply Chain Optimization (AI)

Location: Nieuwegein, Netherlands; currently residing in the Netherlands with previous professional experience in the country required. Hybrid working from home or the office.

Salary: €3,500–€5,000 gross per month based on 40 hours per week.

What you will do

• Contribute to supply chain optimization initiatives using advanced optimization and AI tools.
• Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Develop demonstration scenarios and proof-of-concept solutions for prospective clients.
• Use supply chain software solutions to support customer operations.
• Share expertise within the OptimAI community and contribute to team growth.
• Identify new opportunities and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or university degree in econometrics, applied economics, mathematics, commercial sciences, civil engineering, commercial engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in a similar position.
• Experience with advanced supply chain optimization platforms.
• Strong communication, analytical problem-solving, mentoring, and collaboration skills.
• Tech-savvy background with an affinity for technology and digital solutions.
• Fluent English and Dutch; residence in the Netherlands and previous professional experience in the country required.

Nice to have

• Previous experience in the IT sector or an IT-related background.
• Experience with DELMIA Quintiq or More Optimal.
