AI Consultant (Banking): Supporting the end-to-end AI funnel from idea to scale, managing and refining the Wholesale Banking AI portfolio, and building the operating model with an accent on AI governance, stakeholder alignment, and market-driven decision making. Focus on translating complex AI and banking topics into clear structures, improving processes for scalable AI adoption, and preparing governance bodies for faster time to value.
Location: Amsterdam (CDR - Cedar) — must be in Amsterdam at least 3 times a week

What you will do
- Support the end-to-end AI funnel: identify, validate, and prioritize AI ideas aligned with business strategy and impact.
- Manage and refine the WB AI portfolio with oversight, insight, and actionable recommendations.
- Continuously improve processes, roles, and tools to enable reuse, scalability, and faster AI adoption.
- Drive strong stakeholder management and cross-unit alignment across business, AI, tech, and risk.
- Conduct market research and intelligence to feed insights into strategy and execution.
- Prepare AI governance bodies and decision-making materials; support AI strategy, governance, and flagship program setup.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a consultant (currently a consultant or senior consultant).
- Master’s degree.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to translate complexity into a clear vision and structure.
- Understanding of design/product thinking and Lean/Agile delivery methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills in English (fluent); Dutch is a pre (preference/requirement as stated).
- Legal right to work in the Netherlands and ability to work independently while collaborating in a team.
