Area Manager (Short-Term Rentals)

Location: On-site in Miami or Fort Lauderdale, Florida, United States, with daily travel to properties in the designated market

Salary: $70,000–$80,000 per year plus performance bonus

What you will do

• Oversee daily operations across hirify.global properties in the Miami market and supervise the Assistant Area Manager in Fort Lauderdale.
• Manage market staff, including hiring, training, coaching, performance evaluation, and task delegation.
• Build relationships with property owners, review owner distribution statements, and monitor property status.
• Coordinate the resolution of guest and homeowner issues, escalations, maintenance, housekeeping, and groundskeeping activities.
• Inspect properties, maintain inventory of consumables and linens, and ensure compliance with hirify.global standards and regulations.
• Travel daily between properties, respond to operational communications, and provide after-hours on-call market support.

Requirements

• 4+ years of property management experience across multiple sites and decentralized teams.
• 2+ years of people management experience and 2+ years of homeowner relations experience.
• Availability to work weekends, holidays, flexible schedules, and after-hours on-call shifts.
• Ability to spend most working time standing, walking, and driving between properties, including lifting more than 25 pounds and performing light maintenance tasks.
• Strong self-management, prioritization, communication, and deadline-management skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills; CRM knowledge is a plus.
