Backend Developer (Python)

Location: 100% remote for candidates residing in Poland. Working hours follow an 8-hour workday with flexible core start hours between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM.

Salary: 90–100 PLN per hour on a B2B contract. The project is planned for 3 months with a potential extension and starts in October 2026.

What you will do

• Develop backend functionality and business logic in Python.
• Build serverless solutions with AWS Lambda, Step Functions, and Serverless Framework.
• Develop ETL and data-processing workflows with Pandas, Polars, and DuckDB.
• Work with S3, Athena, PostgreSQL, Flask, SQLAlchemy, Alembic, and Pydantic.
• Contribute to an early AI insights layer.
• Use AI-SDLC and Spec-Driven Development practices while critically reviewing AI-generated code.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of commercial backend development experience.
• Strong Python proficiency.
• Practical experience with AWS Lambda, Step Functions, and Serverless Framework.
• Experience with data-processing technologies such as Pandas, Polars, or DuckDB.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, SQLAlchemy, Alembic, Flask, and Pydantic, plus familiarity with S3 and Athena.
• Fluent written and spoken English at minimum B2 level; residence in Poland is required.
