Security Responsible in Project (Industrial Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Lead security activities for UK Grid Access projects from bids and concept design through commissioning and handover.
• Coordinate the collection, evaluation, tracking, and implementation of cybersecurity requirements.
• Develop integrated security concepts covering industrial cybersecurity, physical security, resilience, power loss, hardware failure, and obsolescence.
• Coordinate physical security design, including site and zone registers, risk assessments, access control, CCTV, and intrusion detection.
• Act as the security interface for project teams, engineering disciplines, suppliers, consortium partners, consultants, and customers.
• Ensure delivery of the Critical Asset Register, Security Plan, Compliance Plan, and other security documentation at the required project stages.

Requirements

• Several years of experience in a managing or leading project-execution role, such as engineering, project management, procurement, quality, or site management.
• Solid understanding of industrial cybersecurity and standards including ISA/IEC 62443 and ISO 27001.
• Knowledge of UK energy-network security regulation, including the NIS Regulations, NCSC Cyber Assessment Framework, and Ofgem requirements, or the ability to develop this knowledge quickly.
• Ability to gather, evaluate, and track requirements across engineers, suppliers, customers, and other stakeholders.
• Degree or apprenticeship in engineering, business administration, or a related field.
• Fluent English, spoken and written, is required.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of NPSA physical security guidance.
• ISA/IEC 62443, ISO 27001, RSES, or CSyP certification.
• German language skills.
