Data Center Security Risk & Assurance Senior Program Manager

What you will do

• Own the data center security audit framework and lead internal audits and control validations across the data center network.
• Assess physical and operational security controls, document findings, and track remediation through completion.
• Partner with Data Center Operations, Security Design, Security Operations, Engineering, Legal, and Technical Program Management teams to validate control effectiveness.
• Conduct physical security due diligence for new site selection and help include security requirements in master service agreements and lease contracts.
• Manage audit evidence, control-health metrics, reporting, and risk trends throughout the data center lifecycle.
• Monitor emerging threats, compliance standards, and industry practices to strengthen data center security programs.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in security risk management, compliance, or assurance.
• Experience leading risk audits and assurance programs in complex, high-growth organizations, ideally in cloud, hyperscale, or critical infrastructure environments.
• Strong understanding of physical and logical security controls and frameworks including NIST CSF, ISO 27001, ISO 22237, ISO 22301, SOC 2, HITRUST, and FedRAMP.
• Ability to translate technical security concepts into actionable business insights and governance structures.
• Excellent communication, influencing, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Access to export-controlled information requires eligibility under applicable U.S. export control regulations.

Nice to have

• CISSP, CISM, CRISC, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor certification, or equivalent practical experience.
