Onsite Galileo 2nd Generation Navigation Signal Engineer (d/m/f)

What you will do

• Support Galileo 2nd Generation system design evolutions for navigation signals and receiver aspects.
• Analyse mission requirements and flow them down into system and subsystem specifications.
• Define, implement, and maintain signal performance analysis tools and simulation models.
• Perform trade-off analyses covering signal generation, propagation, distortions, and navigation message dissemination.
• Analyse receiver acquisition, tracking, PVT processing, signal and data authentication, and system integrity.
• Plan and conduct laboratory experiments and field verification campaigns, monitor Signal-In-Space implementation, and present technical results to customers and partners.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Navigation, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of professional experience in space projects, ideally involving Galileo or other GNSS systems.
• Strong knowledge of GNSS signal analysis, digital signal processing, CDMA, modulation, and navigation receiver algorithms.
• Advanced skills in Matlab, Python, and/or C/C++.
• Must hold or be eligible to obtain a valid Personal Security Clearance.
• Excellent English communication skills are required. Ability to work autonomously in a diverse international team.
