UK - On-Site Manager (Warrington area)

Location: On-site in Warrington, UK, with the role listed in Altrincham; flexibility to work outside standard hours when operational needs require it.

What you will do

• Arrange and conduct interviews and assessments for new starters.
• Manage onboarding, including right-to-work checks, induction, site-specific training, and worker records.
• Maintain compliance files, monitor expiring documents, support audits, and escalate risks.
• Act as the primary onsite contact for client hiring managers, supervisors, and workers.
• Book and allocate workers to shifts, manage absences and shift changes, and support workforce planning.
• Provide first-line payroll support and identify improvements to retention, fill rates, and the worker experience.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in recruitment, onboarding, onsite or managed service, or workforce management.
• Understanding of recruitment compliance and right-to-work requirements.
• Confident communication and relationship management with clients and workers.
• Strong organisation skills, resilience under pressure, and the ability to manage high volumes of activity.
• Competence with Microsoft Office and willingness to learn ATS and workforce management systems.
• Willingness to be based at the client site in Warrington, UK.

Nice to have

• Experience in an onsite or managed service model for a recruitment agency.
• Exposure to payroll or timesheet systems.
• Experience recruiting for warehouse, logistics, industrial, or blue-collar roles.
