Digital Innovation Intern (AI)

Location: Woodlands, Singapore; onsite internship

What you will do

• Identify practical AI, automation and analytics opportunities with Global Supply Management users.
• Build and test Copilot prompts, templates, workflow automations, dashboards, knowledge assistants and lightweight AI agents.
• Support supplier preparation, procurement knowledge search, cost workshop planning, document review, exception identification and management reporting.
• Translate business needs into process flows, solution designs, test plans and measurable success criteria.
• Run user testing, collect feedback, improve solutions and support demos, onboarding and adoption.
• Create user guides, training materials, standard work and an organized repository of approved tools, prompts and documentation.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Business or a related field during the internship.
• Good academic standing and availability to work at least 40 hours per week.
• Availability for a 16–24 week credit-bearing internship starting in January 2027.
• Demonstrated interest in applying AI, automation, analytics or digital tools to practical problems.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills, initiative, curiosity and willingness to work through ambiguity.
• Apply responsible AI, data confidentiality, access control and company policy requirements during solution development.

Nice to have

• Experience with generative AI tools, prompt design, AI agents or retrieval-based knowledge solutions.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, Power Automate, Power BI, SharePoint or comparable platforms.
• Basic knowledge of Python, SQL, JavaScript, APIs or spreadsheet-based analysis.
• Experience with data preparation, dashboarding, process mapping, workflow automation, interface prototyping or user research.
• Interest or experience in procurement, supply chain, operations, manufacturing or the semiconductor industry.
