Pharmacy Technician - Mail Order

What you will do

• Maintain a safe, clean pharmacy by following procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Receive, count, store, and replenish pharmacy freight and supplies.
• Research pet parent orders using computer systems.
• Select, count, and label medications and packaging accurately.
• Package orders for shipment and load them onto carrier vehicles.
• Complete inventory cycle counts and assist pharmacists with medication dispensing tasks.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old.
• Must be able to acquire the required pharmacy technician or trainee registration/licensure.
• Strong attention to detail when filling pharmacy orders.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, walk up to 2 miles per shift, and lift 25 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Flexibility to work overtime when needed.
