Accounting Manager (AI) (Accounting/AI): Leading Hong Kong accounting operations, client financial reporting, tax compliance, and statutory audits with an accent on team management, financial quality, and digital automation. Focus on integrating AI tools into accounting workflows, coordinating audits, resolving technical client matters, and maintaining compliance with Hong Kong requirements.
Location: Hong Kong, Hong Kong; workplace: on-site with flexibility to work from home. Fully remote work from anywhere is available for up to one month each year.

What you will do
- Lead, supervise, mentor, and evaluate accountants and Team Leaders.
- Improve accounting workflows by identifying and implementing digital and automation solutions.
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management accounts in accordance with SME-FRS.
- Supervise Hong Kong Profits Tax computations, Employer’s Returns, and related tax filings, including liaison with the Inland Revenue Department.
- Integrate AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot and ChatGPT into accounting routines to improve accuracy and reduce processing time.
- Manage client portfolios and coordinate accountants, auditors, and clients during annual statutory audits.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Qualified member of HKICPA, ACCA, or an equivalent professional accounting body.
- At least 5 years of accounting experience, including 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of HKFRS, SME-FRS, Hong Kong tax laws, and the Hong Kong Companies Ordinance.
- Proficiency in cloud accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks, or Kingdee, plus advanced MS Excel skills.
- Excellent written and spoken English, Cantonese, and Mandarin required.

- Experience in a CPA firm, professional services organization, or business outsourcing firm.
- Project management skills.
- Experience using AI assistants, automation, and digital tools to transform accounting processes.
