Associate Scientist – Vaccine Bioanalytical Sciences

Location: On premise in Pearl River, New York, United States. Candidates must have permanent authorization to work in the United States. U.S. work visa sponsorship is not available.

Annual base salary: $60,200–$100,400, plus eligibility for a 7.5% performance bonus.

What you will do

• Perform routine sample testing for vaccine GLP toxicology studies, including release, stability, and assay qualification testing.
• Conduct bioanalytical and plate-based assays, including ELISA, MSD antigenicity, HPLC, UV-Vis, endotoxin, bioburden, pH, and appearance testing.
• Perform calculations, analyze test data, and discuss conclusions with the manager.
• Document experiments and results in electronic laboratory notebooks and LIMS.
• Contribute to assay qualification reports, analytical test methods, and stability protocols and reports.
• Support daily laboratory operations, safety, and GLP compliance.

Requirements

• BS or BA degree in biology or a related discipline.
• 0–2 years of relevant experience.
• Basic knowledge of bioassay analytical techniques.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheets, PowerPoint, and relevant scientific software.
• Permanent U.S. work authorization is required; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Experience with plate-based immune methods.
• Experience with laboratory automation, such as Hamilton STAR.
• Experience using electronic laboratory notebooks, LIMS, or GDMS.
