AV Support Technician (Conference Room AV/Event Production): Supporting and building conference room AV systems, live event production setups, and hybrid meeting environments with an accent on Google Meet, Logitech Rally, Neat Bar Pro, Q-SYS, and broadcast equipment. Focus on installing and troubleshooting end-to-end room systems, operating live events, configuring signal chains, and resolving complex hardware, software, and network issues.
Location: Onsite in NYC, NY, United States
Salary: $35.00–$38.00 per hour on W2

What you will do
- Perform daily conference room AV sweeps and provide onsite and remote support for Google Meet, projectors, displays, cameras, and audio/video conferencing equipment.
- Install, configure, calibrate, and maintain conference rooms, including displays, cameras, cabling, racks, DSPs, mixers, microphones, speakers, and scheduling systems.
- Operate live AV production for All-Hands meetings, town halls, training sessions, and other streamed events.
- Configure and operate Q-SYS systems, Epiphan Pearl 2 encoders, Blackmagic switchers, mixing consoles, and Google Meet for event production.
- Diagnose end-to-end hardware, software, network, audio, video, and scheduling issues, escalating complex production problems when needed.
- Maintain inventories, documentation, Confluence runbooks, firmware updates, monitoring systems, and vendor coordination.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in IT/AV support, focused on conference room and meeting-space AV.
- Hands-on experience with Logitech Rally products, Neat Bar Pro or similar video bars, and Logitech room schedulers.
- Strong experience troubleshooting Google Meet hardware and software in conference room and live event settings.
- Experience installing and troubleshooting conference rooms from the ground up, including mounting, cabling, configuration, and testing.
- Experience operating live event video switchers, audio mixing consoles, and streaming or recording encoders.
- Working experience with Q-SYS or similar audio DSP and control platforms in live event or production environments.
