Staff Pharmacist – Exceptional Compensation + Benefits

Location: Greater Sudbury Area, Ontario, Canada; on-site

Salary: CAD 176,800–187,200 per year based on 40 hours per week. Hourly compensation is CAD 85–90.

Company

Busy, well-supported high-volume community pharmacy processing approximately 3,000 prescriptions per week.

What you will do

• Review and verify prescriptions accurately and safely.
• Assess medication therapy, identify drug interactions, and provide clinical recommendations.
• Provide medication counselling and patient education.
• Support methadone services and Level B non-sterile compounding.
• Collaborate with pharmacists, technicians, assistants, and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate patient records in PropelRx and contribute to patient safety and quality improvement.

Requirements

• Licensed pharmacist with active registration with the Ontario College of Pharmacists.
• Strong community pharmacy experience and clinical medication knowledge.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a high-volume pharmacy environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
• Availability for two evening shifts per week and every second weekend.

Nice to have

• Experience with methadone services.
• Experience with non-sterile compounding.
• Experience with PropelRx.
